Coffee Syphon Time!

My coffee needs are usually met with my trusty aeropress but this time, we’re using the Hario Coffee Syphon for that smooth brew. The whole set up reminds me of chemistry lab, but it’s not that complicated. Trust me.

First, get three (3) scoops of coffee and grind them. Add warm water to the coffee pot part of the syphon and have it boil. Take the glass top with the coffee filter and plat if on the pot. You’ll notice that the top part will start syphoning. When that happens, add your ground coffee and give it a stir.

The next part is really cool. Take off the flame and watch the coffee go through the filter and down to the pot. At this point, you can remove the glass top and pout the coffee on to a mug.

It’s smooth and brewed so well. It’s a satisfying pot of coffee that’s worth the whole process.
